Covid care packs for Onslow residents

Covid care packs are now available to permanent Onslow residents needing to isolate due to Covid. The packs, a Chevron initiative, are designed to help make isolation as comfortable as possible.

To be eligible, you must currently be isolating and have proof of residency. Apply for one care pack per household by:

• Visiting the Onslow General Store or REFAP Office
• Calling 9184 6182
• Emailing secretary@onslowcci.com.au
• Filling out the online form here

23 March 2022: Wheatstone Project Native Title Agreement and the Trust Benefits Management Structure Review

BTAC and Chevron have engaged Mr Eamonn Thackaberry to do a review of the Wheatstone Project Native Title Agreement and the Trust Benefits Management Structure. Please find attached papers provided at the recent General Meeting.

Eamonn would like to speak with members to get feedback and comments relating to the above. All members are welcome and encouraged to provide their opinions, thoughts and feelings.

Please note, the review is to be completed by the end of April.

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

Heritage Project Co-ordinator

Expressions of interest are being sought from suitably qualified or experienced BTAC members for the position of Heritage Project Co-ordinator. The position will be located in Perth with regular travel to Onslow during the field season. 

The position is a 12-month contract role and is funded by Fortescue Future Industries for the sole purpose of supporting and co-ordinating BTAC cultural
heritage surveys with Fortescue Future Industries as commissioned under a Heritage Protection Agreement.
