Buurabalayji Thalanyji Aboriginal Corporation (BTAC) is the Registered Native Title Body Corporate (RNTBC) for the Thalanyji People.
BTAC is seeking Roadhouse Attendants to man the service stations in Onslow.
The Roadhouse Attendants play a crucial role in performing various tasks associated with the operation of a roadhouse, which may include a service station, convenience store, or associated facilities.
Key Deliverables
• Assist customers with inquiries and provide information about products and services.
• Assist customers with refuelling vehicles as required.
• Monitor fuel levels and ensure timely replenishment of fuel stocks.
• Receive, unpack, and stock merchandise on shelves.
• Prepare takeaway meals.
• Keep the roadhouse premises clean and tidy, including restrooms, dining areas, and outdoor spaces.
• Adhere to workplace health and safety regulations.
Qualifications and Skills
• Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items as needed.
• Knowledge of fuel handling and safety procedures (training will be provided).
