Position Status: Full Time, Fixed-Term (Two years)

Buurabalayji Thalanyji Aboriginal Corporation (BTAC) is the Registered Native Title Body Corporate (RNTBC) for the Thalanyji People.

BTAC is seeking Members Services / Liaison Officers to assist with office administration and support Thalanyji members.

This role will be the primary contact for the BTAC office and membership base, respond to all enquiries and provide relevant information, advice, and assistance to individuals either via telephone, email or face-to-face.

These positions can be based in South Perth or Onslow, with occasional travel between two locations.

Key Deliverables

• Collaborate with staff/colleagues to ensure common goals and personal- care tasks for members and guests are prioritised or done within a timely manner

• Organise flights and accommodation as required for staff and members

• Provide support and assistance with BTAC meeting requirements as directed for, but not limited to, scheduling, notification, and attendance

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date membership and contact details of members and include relevant documents pertaining to members within SharePoint

• Monitor new membership applications for accuracy to ensure appropriate process of application

• Identify considerations of Thalanyji members, to ensure their needs, health & wellbeing are supported and addressed in a prompt and courteous manner to achieve successful outcomes

• Consult with management and stakeholders to schedule BTAC meetings, organise all administrational requirements, catering and venue hire as required

• Liaison with BTAC 4 Indigenous Land Use Agreement parties, includes arrangement of meetings, Minute Taking, and communication to all parties

Selection Criteria

• Strong interpersonal, verbal, written and communication skills to deliver excellent customer service

• Demonstrated ability to prioritise and organise work to meet expectations

• Experience in similar role within an Aboriginal Corporation would be preferred

• Demonstrated ability to deliver results while working under pressure.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (for example Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word) is required.

• A valid C-Class Australian Driver’s Licence is required.

• A recent, valid, and clear National Police Clearance.
